Does anyone know a good place to stay in myrtle beach south carolina?

We need a 3 bedroom, kitchen, washer & dryer, within walking distance to food and shopping and an oceanfront . No more than $490.00 a night. For 6 adults and 2 Kids.

There are not too many rental homes in Myrtle Beach. Try googling North Myrtle vacation homes, and see if you get any hits.

If you can stay a little farther away, Oak Island, NC, between Wilmington and Myrtle is very nice Or Edisto Island SC to the south of Myrtle. You can rent a house at either one of these places starting at $500 or 600 a week in low season.

You can probably find a condo rental in Myrtle, though. (Sorry, I was thinking only of beach houses!) Again, Google Myrtle beach vacation rentals.

We stayed at the Best Western Grand Strand last year. You would have to have 3 rooms, but it had a kitchenette and was right across the street from the ocean. Also had hot tub, lazy river, and a pool. Our grandkids had a blast!

Where can I find a 2 bed 2 bath apartment that is under $1200/mo and close to downtown?

preferably with oversized/walk in closets, washer dryers in unit, gated.
in houston, texas
oh, and is a SAFE place to live.

Downtown where? I would check the newspaper first and also check with Real Estate companies, many of them have rental property, or ask them for a referral. Best Wishes and Happy apartment hunting

Should my Landlord pay us back for the Washer/Dryer we brought?

My roomate and I have been renting an apartment for 2 years. Our lease is up September 1st, and come this Sept she will be moving to San Francisco and I will be moving to a new location.

When we first moved in, included in the unit was a Washer / Dryer Hookup. This was advertised. There was initially a small/ half size washer and No Dryer. We rarely used the small washer, as it could not do any more than a small load of kitchen towels, or delicates. Either way, we acquired a nice, working Washer / Dryer set. We moved the small washer downstairs to the basement (which is storage only- there are no coin-op Washer/Dryers in this space at all).

Now that my roomate is moving across the country, and I will be moving closer to the city where washer/dryers are more commonly in the basement, we will be leaving the Washer/Dryer we brought in the apartment.

Is it correct to think that the Landlord shold pay us for the Washer /Dryer that we brought to the unit?

If the landlord wants to pay you that is his option. If he does not then take the washer/dryer that you bought. I have a feeling that you are just leaving it there because you do not want to move it. In that case I do not see that the landlord should feel obligated to pay you. He is not forcing you to leave it, if he were that would be a different story.

Yes, you paid for it. Yes, it is yours. However, it is also your decision to leave it. In that respect, to the landlord it is just some unclaimed property.

Will running our clothes in the dryer alone kill scabies or do I have to put them in the washer with hot water?

My kids got scabies because a friend didn’t warn us. Long story short. I gave us all a treatment last night and now I am wondering if I need to actually wash all of our ‘clean’ clothes in hot water and dry them in high heat or if I can just put them in the dryer by themselves. I want to wash them and everything but my mom is saying that we can just put them in the dryer and they should be fine. Can someone help me out??

I have read it is best to wash in hot water as well as put in dryer. It does seem that the heat alone in dryer would be adequate, but everything I’ve read included washing in hot water as well. Also kids tend to scratch themselves so be sure to tell them this can lead to an infection and use antihistamines if you need to stop the itching. If you live in a cold area put clothing or shoes outdoors for 24 hours as freezing is also a way to kill mites.

PLEASE only answer if you know about washers and dryers please!! I live in a studio apartment?

and i want to buy a washer/dryer. Maybe a washer dryer combo. It can only be 110 volts. Any suggestions???
Thanx getting some good answers now

Best Buy, Sears, usually any appliance store.

Most any washers are all 99% that i know of are 110 volts
however most dryers maybe 80% are 220 volts there are some 110 volts. All you have to do is specify when you go to the appliance store of your choice what your looking for. I bought a whirlpool combo=110 washer 220 dryer. most homes are already preset for the 220 on the dryer all you h ave to do is match the plug in for it if you really want 110. Notice though if you get a 110 dryer it will draw MORE amps which will make the light bill a littler higher than if you buy a 220volt dryer which draws less amps since dryer has heaters in it (in AC the higher the voltage the less the current. the lower the voltage the higher the current.) so its just something to think about.

so

1st : get a 110 washer

2nd look at the plug you have available already in your wall or on your floor draw it on a piece of paper of what it looks like (the angle of the prongs) take it to the store
and tell the clerk you want a combo that will fit this plug.
